On-site attendance in Dublin - what is included in the fees?

ESP Members, Non-Members, Residents and PhD students:

  • Admission to all scientific sessions (incl. additional One-Day Symposia)
  • Admission to Networking Reception
  • Admission to poster exhibition and technical exhibition
  • Coffee breaks and lunches from Sunday to Wednesday
  • Congress material (delegate bag, final programme, etc.)
  • Access to all sessions on demand (until 13 October 2023 for non-members or 13 December 2023 for ESP members)*

* Videomicroscopy Sessions will neither be live-streamed nor recorded.

Additional One-Day Symposia:
 

  • Admission to all scientific sessions of the respective Symposium
  • Admission to poster exhibition and technical exhibition on the day of the Symposium
  • Coffee break and lunch on the day of the Symposium
  • Access to all symposium-related on demand content (until 13 October 2023 for non-members or 13 December 2023 for ESP members)

Accompanying Persons:
 

  • Admission to Networking Reception on Saturday, 9 September 2023
  • Sightseeing Tour of Dublin

Please note that accompanying persons do neither have access to scientific sessions nor to the exhibition/poster area.

All registration fees are exempt from VAT.
* In good standing (membership fee for 2023 paid). Please note that the member fee can only be granted if you are a member of the ESP at the time of registration. If you are not a member yet, you need to apply for membership first and once you have received your ESP membership confirmation, you can register at the member fee.
** For residents/PhD students under 40 (i.e. born after 9 September 1983 - to be proven by ID card/passport). The resident/PhD student status must be confirmed by a formal declaration (incl. start and end date of the residency/PhD programme) in English language from the Head of Department or the responsible for the training programme. All documents need to be uploaded during the registration process and must be issued in this calendar year.
*** Participants with full ECP registration can attend this symposium at no extra cost.

  • Access to a selection of scientific sessions (including Molecular Pathology Diagnostics Symposium (MD)) during live congress hours - available sessions will be published in early 2023.
  • Access to all* sessions on demand (until 13 October 2023 for non-members or 13 December 2023 for ESP members)
  • Access to digital posters/E-Posters

* Videomicroscopy Sessions will neither be live-streamed nor recorded.

Invitation Letter

When registering for the 35th ECP, please immediately arrange payment of the registration fee. All payments must be made in EUR. You can choose between three forms of payment:Credit card payment, PayPal or bank transfer.

Upon receipt of the registration and the corresponding payment, the congress office will send a confirmation to the participant which also serves as an invoice (via e-mail). 

In case of cancellation, please notify the congress office CPO HANSER SERVICE in writing only. A refund minus a service charge of EUR 75 will be given for cancellations received by 31 May 2023. After 31 May 2023, no refunds will be given.

In case of cancellation of the on-site registration fee in favour of a virtual fee, please notify the congress office in writing only. The balance will be refunded for rebooking requests received by 4 July 2023. After 4 July 2023 no refunds can be granted.

For group bookings: cancellation of the on-site registration fee in favour of a virtual fee for existing group bookings is possible in individual cases. Please contact ecp-dublin@cpo-hanser.de to request such a change. Please note that changing virtual registrations back to on-site registrations (second change) is not possible.

Residents / PhD students need to confirm their status by a formal declaration in English language from the head of department or the responsible for the training programme. The confirmation needs to be written on formal letter paper (incl. letter head) of your institute with official stamp and signature and needs to include the start and end date of the residency/PhD programme. 

In addition, a proof of age (e.g. a copy of their ID card or passport) has to be provided. All documents need to be uploaded during the registration process and must be issued in this calendar year (2023).

Undergraduate students are eligible for a free virtual registration to the 35th ECP.

Please note that free registrations for undergraduate students can only be granted until 5 days prior to the congress, upon approval of the application document.

The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. 
You can apply for an invitation letter online during the registration process on the congress website. The letters will be sent as e-mail attachments once the payment has been received. 
It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support.
